It’s Here: The First Issue of Purposeful Living

It started with a question: What are the things we carry with us, and why do we keep them? It was one of the questions I found myself asking after my parents passed away.

Going through their belongings, I began to wonder about all the objects we hold onto throughout our lives, the things that seem ordinary to us but may one day leave someone else wondering, Why did they keep this? What did it mean to them?

That question became the first issue of Purposeful Living, a monthly magazine for reflection, memory, and legacy.

“What We Carry With Us” explores the objects, memories, and stories that become part of our lives, and invites us to pause and consider what they mean, what they tell us about where we've been, and what we might want to pass along.

I've been working quietly on this little magazine for quite some time, so it has been especially lovely to hear from readers who have received the first issue and to see subscriptions already coming in. It seems I'm not the only one who feels that there is something worthwhile in slowing down, remembering, and putting a few things into words.

Purposeful Living is intentionally small and simple: a physical magazine delivered by mail, with each issue centered around a different theme. Inside you'll find reflections, questions to consider, purposeful practices, and a little space to write your own thoughts.

The first issue is now available! You can subscribe monthly or for the year, or purchase Issue #1 on its own if you'd like to begin there.

Here's to living with purpose, and remembering along the way!
